The Catherine jumper is inspired by the symbol of the Triple Goddess, a symbol of timeless beauty and profound wisdom. It tells the story of the Triple Goddess - the Virgin, the Mother and the Crone - and her journey through the seasons of life. It is a pattern as old as time itself, a rhythm that resonates deeply with the heartbeat of the earth and the souls of its inhabitants, a fascinating symbol of female strength and spiritual growth.

This jumper is a pattern from the Catherine bundle, along with the cape and balaclava. You can find all the patterns here on my Ravelry page Micca-witchcraft. Catherine in turn is part of MICCA, a collection that pays tribute to the many victims of witchcraft. In Europe alone, more than 100,000 alleged witches were burned at the stake. Catherine was one of the victims. Along with five other women, she was burned on a hill in Ellezelles, a small village in Hainaut, Belgium, on 26 October 1610.

You knit the jumper from bottom to top with circular knitting needles 4 and 4.5 using 7 rustic colours of DROPS AIR:
02 wheat 50 g
03 pearl grey 50 g
04 medium grey 100 g
05 brown 100 g
06 anthracite 50 g
13 orange 50 g
31 black 50 g

You choose from 3 sizes: Small, Medium and Large. The jumper is roomy. Work in the round up to the armholes. Then divide the piece in two and knit each piece separately. For the shoulders, shortened needles are best for a nice design. You edge off the stitches with three needles. The sleeves are knitted from top to bottom in the round to the body. The triple moon pattern is knitted in using the fair isle technique. You take the threads behind the work, without crossing them.
