I designed and entered this blanket for the
Vogue Knitting Live contest sponsored by Mohair South Africa.
I wanted something graphic and wanted to use the 2015 Pantone color of the year Marsala.(or something similar)
The finished blanket is a Backgammon game board.
The construction is in 3 panels with color work using short rows and slipped stitches, so that it looks good on both sides. The finishing is minimal. After sewing the panels together, a seed stitch border is knit along each side. There is no blocking.
