Cathy the Barrel Cactus
This is an amigurumi pattern for a plush cactus. It’s written in US terms. This pattern takes very little yarn for the main body and even less for the flowers. There’s a video link and written instructions for the bobble stitch used for the flowers.
The legs are foldable so Cathy can sit on a shelf and give out all the good vibes! One cactus takes about 3-4 oz of Bernat blanket yarn. It’s a no sew crochet pattern and highly customizable. This can be made with any yarn and corresponding hook but the end result will be a different size. Finished size with Bernat Blanket yarn is 5.5” from bottom to top without legs. It’s helpful to be familiar with the bobble stitch and basic color changes. It’s an easy pattern, the most complicated thing is doing color changes and bobble stitches in the same row.
