Sweater featuring positive and negative fields inspired by a woven belt, accented with a cat motif that appears frequently in Incan textiles. Sweater is worked in stranded two-color knitting in the round to the shoulder line, with steeks for the armhole openings. Front neck shaping is stitched and cut during finishing. Sleeves are worked in the round, with facings at the upper edges to cover the raw edges of the steeked armhole openings.

Gauge: Pattern motif from chart with largest needles, worked in rounds, measures about 7½“ / 19 cm wide and 6¼” / 16 cm high.
