You may use any yarn to make this toy, just make sure to use correct hook size with your yarn.

You will need following or similar materials:

1. Yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby in main color 80342, yarn consumption – 1 skein. Yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby: 80363 less than 1/2 of a skein. 80303 for a dress 1/3 of a skein. 80344 for shorts 1/3 of a skein.
2. Safety nose size 11 mm
3. Safety eyes size 12 mm
4. Crochet hook size 3.5 or 4 mm (I use 3.5 mm hook)
5. Scissors
6. Black thin thread for eyebrows and whiskers embroidery
7. Polyester fiberfill
8. Sewing needle with large eye
9. Cotton thread for tightening

You will only need basic crocheting skills to make this pattern:

Invisible decrease
Chain stitch
Slip stitch
Half double crochet
Basic sewing skills to assemble all the parts together
