We are back! I’m back from hospital (got rid of Freddie, the 2kg myoma, R.I.P.) and the black cat is, too!

My arm is still a mess, my plumbing in my tummy is not okay yet, the brackets hurt (I look like I have a zipper on my belly), I’m freezing. The hole Freddie left, seems to be a bit chilly :)
But time will heal…

I sang it whenever I wanted to embolden and distract myself.

The cat and stripes beanie is another only two color hat and matches the double knitting cat scarf.

The two are a great set!

And it’s also suitable for color knitting beginners as there are only two colors throughout the whole beanie.

It’s completely knitted in 4-ply sock yarn but you can also use Merino or Acrylic yarn of similar weight.

It has a two color ribbing, featuring the cats in stripes, the big black cat diva looking over her shoulder and the smaller playful kitten trying to catch a butterfly.
Little cat paw prints complete the beanie.

At the top are 10 sitting smaller cats.

Endlich wieder da! Ich aus dem Krankenhaus (Freddie, das 2 kg Myom hab ich dortgelassen, R.I.P) und die schwarze Katze aus meiner Musterkiste!

Mein Arm ist grün und blau und tut saumäßig weh. Aber das wird sich hoffentlich bald ändern. Ich seh aus, als hätt ich auf dem Bauch n’en Reissverschluss. Mich friert’s dauernd. Wahrscheinlich ist das Loch, das Freddie hinterlassen hat, jetzt etwas zugig :)
Aber mit der Zeit wird’s schon heilen…

Den hab ich immer gesungen, um mir Mut zu machen.
Ist etwas fröhlicher als der Elbogensong.

Als ich den Doppelstrick Katzenschal fertig hatte, fehlte noch die dazu passende Mütze.

Das ist sie.
Zweifarbig aber in Fair Isle gestrickt.
Da durchgehend nur 2 Farben verwendet werden, ist sie auch für Anfängerinnen geeignet.

Sie hat einen zweifarbigen Bund, gefolgt von der Katzendiva und einem kleinen Kätzchen, das auf Schmetterlingsjagd ist… als Längsstreifen.
Katzenpfotenabdrücke komplettieren die Mütze.

Obendrauf sind 10 kleinere sitzende Katzen.
