This pillow stands up on its own!

YARN, GAUGE, SIZE AND MACHINE
The sample is made using Tamm Bebe yarn on a standard gauge machine at stitch size 8, with a gauge of 6 stitches/9 rows/inch. The gauge may be matched on a mid-gauge machine at a larger stitch size. A second gauge of 5 stitches/ 7 rows/inch, intended for light #4 yarn is provided in brackets. Light #4 means things like Caron simply soft and Tamm Nordic. Red Heart is a heavy #4. This gauge may be knitted on a mid-gauge or bulky machine. The finished pillow is about 12” wide and 10.2-10.5” tall. Base is about 3” across from front to back of the pillow. In this case, gauge is not very critical. If yours is slightly off, your cat may look different but will still be cute.
