US Terminology

This pattern has a chart as well as color block and written instructions and access to Stitchfiddle. Both right and left hand instructions included.

Materials

7 colors of any weight yarn and a crochet hook – I recommend choosing 0.5-1 mm smaller hook than what the yarn suggests – that will make your end result neater
• A = White (for the background and details)
• B = Light blue (for the background)
• C = Black (for the cats and outline of the orange)
• D = Pink (for the noses of the cats)
• E = Orange (for the orange)
• F = Yellow (color around the orange)
• G = Green (for the leaves of the orange)

Scissors
Wooden dowel slightly longer than your project

Gauge, Yardage & Measurements
Gauge, yardage and your project’s measurements depend entirely on the yarn you choose to use.
Your gauge is not important but ideally your row count should be a bit more than stitch count per 10cmx10cm/4”x4” square (for example 20sc x 21rows) before blocking.

With sport weight yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook

Measurements after blocking with sc-border and dowel:
58cm/22.8” height x 51cm/22” width
I used less than one 100g skeins of each color.
