The two colour, fully lined, pull-on single loop cowl is designed to fold over rather than scrunch up around the neck, and surprise! the sheep will still be visible on the outside. It is knit in the round then folded inwards with the upper half becoming the lining of the cowl and all floats are hidden. The inspiration for the sheep motif came from photographs of Dominque’s sheep, that can be found on the Catskill Merino website

Yarn Required:
You will need two skeins of MC and one of CC of Catskill Merino Fingering (225yd/2oz) (200m/50g) for a total of MC (450yd/4oz) (400m/100g), and CC 225yd/200m for either of the two sizes provided in the pattern.

Final note before printing the pattern: since this is a colour work design the charts are all colour coded and will consume ink toner. Therefore print out only those pages and charts that you really need. The pattern provides different design configurations . The first four pages will be enough to create the cowl shown in the photos.
