In 2016 I knit more than a few Pussy Hats to protest a man placed in power who felt he had the right to sexually assault women because of this power. The pussy hat was a playful symbol of protest that was amazing to see at women’s rallies around the world. It showed solidarity as you watched a sea of pink pussy hats march forward together. Now, eight years on, I feel like I’m done with the playful tone, and I’m ready to step into the power of fearless Cattitude. Like a small cat pushing back a big dog with hissing, a swat, and slow dangerous forward momentum; I’m ready to move forward to protect the rights and freedoms of all women. My new attitude is ”Say it to my face” & “Let’s Freakin’ Go! LFG” (Substitute the “F” word you like).
This pattern is free for any woman, man, or gender free people who want to knit the LFG Cattitude into their very own hat.

This pattern has only one size (61cm / 23” circumference). Feel free to adjust numbers to fit.

2 colourwork charts are included: LFG and “Say it to my Face”

I knit the main colour of the hat in Fergus Yarn Co Sock Yarn the green colourway Wyldefire and Koigu KPM in the orange colourway 1245. I divided each skein in half and held two strands of yarn together. You could also use a single strand of worsted weight yarn.

This is an intermediate level knit project.
