Catwoman returns is a hat with ears. Originally designed for a child, there is now also an adult version available for the PussyHat Project.

Both versions are for a head circumference of about 52-56 cm 20-22 inches, leaving room to wear a merino wool balaclava underneath the child version.

The children’s version starts with two ear flaps, continuing with a seed stitch edge, then working in stockinette stitch until desired length. Finally, ears are created with short rows, finishing with a three needle bind off.

The adult version starts with a 2 x 2 ribbing and then continues as the children’s version with the same crown shaping and short-row ears.
