- This pattern is an intermediate beginner pattern. Pattern works great with self striping yarn.

Knowledge on how to make a basic sock to fit your foot is needed. Such as foot length, what type of heel fits your foot best, how tall you prefer your socks.

This pattern is for toe up socks but is easily adaptable for cuff down.

Socks are best knit at a gauge of 7-10 stitches per inch. I personally prefer 8 or 9 stitches per inch. Use whichever needle size you need to obtain the gauge you want to achieve.
