This crocheted blanket is inspired by the beautiful ‘Causeway Coast’ – the stunning, exhilarating, and dramatic coastline of Northern Ireland! The full written pattern featuring 10 different hexagon designs is available to purchase in my Ravelry store.

The finished blanket measures approximately 110cm x 150cm (43in x 59in) using Scheepjes ‘Colour Crafter’ 100% acrylic DK and a 4mm hook. The blanket can be made using other yarns and appropriately sized hook but the finished size may vary.

Hexagons are the base for this blanket – 95 individual hexagons to be precise! The blanket is created by joining these hexagons. With the Giant’s Causeway consisting of over 40,000 hexagonal columns, this ‘Causeway Coast’ inspired blanket simply had to be based on a hexagonal design!
