C2C – corner-to-corner
ch – chain
chsp – chain space
st – stitch
slst – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
(..) – total number of ‘squares’ for the row
Ø – zero (to reduce confusion with the letter ‘O’ for orange)
O – orange-brown ‘square’
T – tan ‘square’
N – navy-blue ‘square’
B – black ‘square’
W – white ‘square’

This pattern is worked as a C2C and includes basic C2C stitch instructions at the end.

There is an excel graph included; the numbers on the graph correlate to the row number of the written pattern on the diagonal and as per direction arrow in the box next to the number, starting from the bottom right hand corner. If you want to change the colours/pattern to suit your own dog, note the row number and direction of arrow, then edit written instructions as desired.
