CCC Easy Shawlette
This shawlette was designed for a workshop I held for the subject: how to make triangular shawls from granny squares. I like it because I chose to ensure it was a perfect triangular fit with the correct mathematical split of stitches down each side (ok, a bit geeky and you don’t really need to know this!).
Simplicity is key to showing off a lovely sock yarn.
I used a skein of sock yarn – the skein was 365m long and I used almost the whole skein to make a shawlette approx. 130cm by 65cm when blocked. However, it could be made larger, you’ll just need more yarn. It could also be made in any weight of yarn provided you select a suitable hook size.
Written in English and US terms and also charted.
BTW: I was not paid to design this shawl and the yarn I used was purchased retail.
