When the designer first held the newest beautiful colours of Paia in her hands, the idea for Cecilia was born – a simple raglan sweater where the yarn takes centre stage. The raglan decreases are knitted with an elegant detail that highlights simplicity and artistic precision, inspired by the works of @ida.noack and @morten.loefberg. The soft colours and minimalist design elevate the sweater into something truly special.

The Cecilia sweater is knitted from the bottom up.
First, the ribbing for the back and front pieces is
worked separately. Then the ribbed edges are joined
with a small overlap on each side, and the body is knitted
in stockinette stitch up to the armholes, where the
work is divided.
The sleeves are knitted from the bottom up, starting
with a ribbed edge that is joined with a small overlap.
Increases are made along the underside of the sleeve
until the full circumference is reached.
Next, the body and sleeves are joined, and the yoke is
knitted with raglan decreases all the way to the top.
At the neckline, the work is divided, and short rows are
worked back and forth to create the rounded neckline.
Finally, the neckband is knitted in rib. The edge is
folded over and sewn down on the wrong side of the
sweater.
