Cecily
A short sweater knit in the round seamlessly from the top down. The construction starts at the neck edging, then continues through the round yoke with a stranded colourwork pattern and an elevation in the back of the neck for better fit. After the yoke the stitches are separated, and the body and sleeves (short or long) are finished separately. The body features waist shaping and a small pinstripe side detail.

Sometimes when it’s cold and gloomy outside and the days just don’t seem to get longer at all, a splash of bold and happy colour can go a long way.
Grey is beautiful on its own and offers elegance and simplicity. But from time to time it’s just not enough.
So this time I combined it with a bright pink full of joy and giggles, simple stranded motifs and very understated, short ribbed edgings to keep the focus on the almost reflective pinkness.
