“CROWN” on the pattern refers to the BODY of the hat.
The part where the decrease st actually starts (strictly speaking, this is CROWN) is from the round35.

このパターンで「クラウン」と標記している部分は帽子のボディ全体部分のことを指しています。
厳密に言うと、クラウンというのは帽子の上部、減目が始まっている部分を指すのだそうです。なのでこのパターンでは35周目からがクラウン、ということになります。
パターンを見た、海外の方からご指摘頂きましたので、追記させていただきました。勉強不足ですみません・・

The green color of this yarn reminded me of a cedar tree that had grown in the schoolyard of an elementary school.

小学校の校庭に生えていた杉の木をイメージしてデザインしました。かぶり口からトップに向かって編みます。モコモコした感じではなく、軽めの編地なので春先や秋などにも重宝するアイテムです。（参考までに、サンプルをはかるとだいたい55gでした。）1かせ余った糸などを活用して楽しんでください！
