These patterns are made for overlay mosaic crochet.

Each flag is 29 stitches wide at the top and 27 rows high.
You can make the garland for anything. “ Happy birthday” , but also you can make “ It is Boy/ Girl” , or anything else you want to celebrate. Making a name is also a very nice idea. Even to make as a present. Happy birthday you can use every birthday.

What I used as on photo: Yarn: 2 different colors. The example is crocheted with Durable cosy fine , on hook size 3.5. You can use any yarn.If you make an end border, you can enlarge it. You may need extra yarn for this. Different yarn will affect the size and yarn needed, but the pattern will remain the same.
