Celer mitts
These simple fingerless mitts are knit bottom up, in the round and seamless, with a thumb gusset, created with symmetrical lifted increases. We start by knitting the wrist area, then do increases for the thumb, the thumb stitches are left on hold while we knit the hand. When the rest of mitt is finished we pick up thumb stitches again and work in the round to knit the thumb. Simple knit and purl stitch pattern makes mitts quick to knit, making them perfect last minute gift idea.
