Celeste Christmas Stocking
Celeste Christmas Stocking is worked from the leg to the toe. The top rib edge, heel and toe are worked in one solid color, while the rest of the stocking is worked in a stranded knitting pattern in 5 different colors. The heel is shaped using short rows.
Please note that stranded knitting often needs to be worked on a needle that’s 0.5-1 mm [½ to a whole needle size] larger to maintain the same gauge as the solid stockinette stitch sections. For this reason, you need to work a swatch in both the stranded pattern and in solid stockinette stitch before starting your stocking.
