This banner has a seemingly infinite amount of creative possibilities, as infinite as the universe, one might say. This design incorporates both traditional and Tunisian crochet skills to create flags across a hanging banner. Each flag segment is worked into a long starting chain. This method allows you to use a standard straight crochet hook comfortably. This pattern includes sections on customization as well as a few variations to the pattern to choose from.

NOTE: If you’re getting more curling than you think you can block out, try going up a hook size!

Also, to avoid curling consider fiber that is more relaxed such as some cottons, silk, alpaca or mixtures.
