Celie Sister is a top-down knitted crescent shawl. The size of the shawl body is adjustable. The border has a constant width through out the shawl edge. This is a very easy knit of shawl, easy but not boring.
The pattern has both written and chart instructions.

Material needed:
3.0 mm circular needles 80 cm or longer
Approx. 1000 meters of fingering yarn of main color (mc).
Approx. 200 meters of fingering yarn of contrast color (cc).

The sample shawl used Drops BabyAlpaca Silk (1760) as mc and Drops Flora (09) as cc.

Measurements of the sample shawl after blocking:
length = 67 cm, width = 210 cm
The sample shawl has 22 repeats of chart B.
The border has a constant width of 27 cm.
