7.5 mm (US 11) circular needle, 16” / 40 cm, or if using the magic loop method a 32” (80 cm) circular needle
or needles required to obtain correct gauge

12 sts & 16 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st on 7.5 mm (US 11) needle, after blocking
