Choose What You Pay:

In order to price my designs in a manner that maintains both financial accessibility and fair pricing, I now offer a “Choose What You Pay” model. This model allows the buyer to pay what they are able while valuing my labor and that of other designers by providing a “true” and sustainable price for the product. The price as listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work I have put into the design. Sliding scale pricing (use codes in bold at checkout):

DESCRIPTION
The Celtic Blanket is a baby blanket knitting pattern, it features an eye-catching cable design inspired by the traditional Irish twisted cable knit style.

This lovely blanket knitting pattern is perfect for cots, buggies, car seats, and Moses basket.
The Celtic Blanket is the best baby blanket if you are searching for an heirloom pattern.
In the Celtic Blanket knitting pattern, the center of the panel has a Celtic braid pattern, flanked by cables running up each end.

This blanket is knitted from the bottom up, worked flat (back and forth).

SIZING
16 x 24 inches (40,5 x 61 cm), with detailed instructions to make it larger and longer.

GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS
Gauge: 16 stitches and 22 rows over 4”/10cm
Needles: US 9 - 5.5 mm
Notions: Tapestry needle

YARN
This garment is designed for a Worsted wool/wool blend. I used Lion Brand Fishermen’s Wool.
Yarn: Yarn Weight 4 Medium (Worsted, Afghan, Aran)
Yardage: 230 - 250 yards (210 - 229 m)
