I like to give handmade gifts whenever appropriate. I find even if I’m giving a bottle of wine, a crocheted gift bag is always appreciated. With Father’s Day around the corner, I thought this was the perfect time to design a practical gift with Dad in mind!

The Celtic Bottle Bag is available with two options. The first is a combination of the Celtic weave pattern with a band of tapestry crochet in the center, that has been customized with the word “DAD” on it. The second is intended for more generic gift giving and is worked in the Celtic weave all the way up to the handles.

If you haven’t tried these techniques, don’t worry, I have a series of tutorials to help you along.
