The pattern was designed for Leslie Samson’s Blizzard yarn. She wanted a pattern that she could give away with purchase of her yarn.

The designer is Holly G Stone and the updated version is in the pattern store as the Celtic Star Cable Hat The pattern is also similar to Michelle Camancho’s Celtic Bunny Hat

Don’t go away broken-hearted! You may find you prefer the Ragna Cap, the Ariel Cable Hat, Jennifer Hat, or the Ascutney Aran Hat as a substitute.
