Pattern is written in two sizes, smaller one is for small an normal sized heads and specially for shorter hair. Larger size is mainly for women with long hair.

Pattern is worked from down to top. I used circular needles, but pattern is written for DPNs. Actually I used three size of circular needles; 16” for brim, then changed to 24” and used them until decreases, after that changed for 47”. Chart is easy follow and not too hard for knitters with little experience.
