This is a Celtic patterned Christmas stocking, with a contrasting twisted rib cuff, checked heel, and contrasting toe, along with a stockinette stitch foot. It’s a fun, easy pattern to knit, with both charted and written instructions. You can create it in a variety of shades for everyone in the family. I’ve shown it here in a deep red with sparkling white contrasts, and an off white Aran with sparkling red contrasts. You only need 1 skein of each yarn to complete the pattern.
As I note in the pattern, the glitter yarn I used is no longer available, but there are several others that will work, and I found the yarn I used still available on several online auction sources.
