Celtic Coasters
Now available in an eBook of all three Celtic Knot Coasters plus a bonus Triquetra knot coaster.
Versions in both UK & US terms.
If you prefer using worsted weight yarn, you might like to try out my Worsted Celtic Coasters pattern, which produces a similar sized and similar looking coaster.
These coasters are made by interleaving four rectangular crochet strips. You only need a small amount of of yarn. Ideally made with four or at least two colours as you will see from the photographs.
They should come out about 4 inches / 10cm square.
Another idea is that if you choose a super chunky cotton you can turn it into a hot pad. The last photograph shows one made from some DMC XL cotton. It used just over half a ball. It came out about six inches square and is shown on a wooden trivet about seven inches square.
