Celtic Knot Table Runner
This combination of a Solomon’s knot and a shield knot represents our family. You can see the shield knot is the two interwoven strands creating the 4 corners. This stands for me and my husband as we are united. The Solomon’s knot portion is the center link that intertwines between the shield knot pieces but is its own distinct piece. This represents our daughter who we love and protect while she is her own person.
This mosaic crochet pattern includes instructions for creating a table runner using this Celtic knot pattern with 3 repeats. All stitches are in American crochet.
One pattern repeat using a 2.5 mm hook and DK weight yarn is 15 1/8” long x 15 3/4” tall.
Three pattern repeats to create the full table runner is 47 3/4” long x 15 3/4” tall.
