THANKFUL SALE! I’m very thankful for so many things, but especially for having the chance to explore my creativity through my knitting patterns. Thank you to each and every one of you who has bought a pattern! Here is a sale to celebrate, no codes required.

The sale runs through December 2.

About the Pattern

Celtic knotwork decorates the front and back of this pillow, creating a beautiful accent for any home. The pillow can be knit as either a removable pillow cover with a button flap closure or a fully enclosed pillow with stuffing.

The finished dimensions are approximately 12” by 12” (30.5 by 30.5 cm).

Techniques required: Cable stitches, kitchener stitch (if making a closed pillow).

Materials

  • Size 7 US (4.5mm) needles (circular or double pointed for working in the round).
  • Approximately 350-375 yards (320-343 m) of worsted weight yarn.
  • Cable needle.
  • Needle to weave in ends.

If making a pillow cover with a button flap:

  • 12”x12” (30.5x30.5 cm) pillow form.
  • 3 approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter buttons.
  • Needle and matching thread to attach buttons.

If making a closed pillow without a flap:

  • Stuffing or a 12”x12” (30.5x30.5 cm) pillow form.

Errata

In versions 1.1 and prior, Row 2 of the written instructions for Chart 3 had an error. The row should read as follows:

Row 2 (RS): slwyib, k5, p4, c4f, p, co4, p, (c4f, p4) twice, c4f, p2, co4, p2, (c4f, p4) twice, c4f, p, co4, p, c4f, p4, k4, slwyif, p

The chart itself is correct.
