Celtic Secret is a top-down triangular lace shawl that features a lace Celtic knot motif in the center. The shawl reminds me of a misty forest in the summer and one can almost hear the whispers of the leaves as they tell of things to come and give an air of mystery to the entire wood while the Celtic knot gives an air of solidity and lend an old, majestic beauty to the young greenery of the trees.

This shawl is my first lace design and I hope that you enjoy knitting it as much as I enjoyed designing it! The lacework is both charted and written. There is a slightly new technique of what I call a side picot, but it’s a really easy and simple thing to learn and I hope you enjoy it!

Recommended Yarn: 420 yds/385 m of any semi-solid, solid, or slightly variegated fingering weight yarn will work as well as other weights if you want a larger shawl. However bear in mind the yardage will be different as well as the gauge.
