Simple repeated elements create a festive holiday design. A mixture of Aran Honeycomb stitch, Twisted stitches and the ubiquitous Double Moss stitch delight this traditional Christmas Stocking. Cuff edge is worked flat before finishing in the round.

Pattern size can be adjusted using different yarn weights or needle sizes.

Note: The double moss stitch is the backbone of many Aran patterns. It is also known as the Seed stitch. There are differences in terminology between Ireland and the USA and the more Irish version of the term is being used for this pattern as some would call this simply the Moss stitch. Vive la difference!

This pattern uses approximately 1.5 skeins of worsted weight yarn.
