Giant 5 inch Plastic Red Superknitter (Large Spool Knitter)
No longer available from Lion Brand. Other spool knitter brands can be substituted.

Cords for potholder are worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout; gauge is not critical.

Form ‘celtic knot’ with braided cord following color photographs. Sew into place to finish.
