Celtic Winter Stocking
Add an Irish flair to your Christmas! A combination of traditional elements delight to create a winter wonderland of evergreen trees and snow on a Christmas Stocking. Cuff edge is worked flat with the Rice Stitch before finishing in the round with small evergreen trees. The Rice Stitch is echoed, like a field of snow, on the stocking body for a simple, elegant, repeated design. A bobble can be added to the trees if desired.
Pattern size can be adjusted using different yarn weights or needle sizes.
Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette
Stocking Dimensions: Approximately 22” tall from toe to top of cuff and 8” wide at cuff.
