Crochet a wonderfully squishy baby blanket when you learn how to crochet the bean stitch from the center out! This grow out blanket starts in the center and is worked in rounds until you reach the desired size. You can use this method to make a (very puffy) coaster, dishcloth, baby blanket, or larger afghan!

Unfortunately I don’t know the exact size of this blanket because I gave it away a long time before I published the pattern! Since it grows out and uses yarn from your stash, you can make the blanket as large or small as you’d like.

I also unfortunately do not have gauge information available. Gauge is not critical for this project.

I used about 4 skeins of worsted weight Red Heart With Love yarn from my stash to make this blanket.
