The Agave Americana, or as it is more commonly known the century plant, captured my attention in the southwest gardens of New Mexico. With a wide, leafy base and a tall blooming stalk, the plant stands out among its shorter cohabitants – a statement piece of the desert. Drawing from these attributes, the Century Cowl was designed as a cozy and comfortable, eye-catching accessory.
