Cera Blanket
The Cera Blanket has a playful geometric design that is perfect for both bold and joyful colours or a more muted and refined palette.
The blanket is made using tapestry crochet, which is explained in the pattern along with links to some handy video tutorials.
These include:
General tapestry crochet – https://youtu.be/sqQxQQ-Szig
Making sure the yarns don’t get tangled – https://youtu.be/i79K04YMj6U
The pattern includes full written instructions, comprehensive pattern notes and a colourwork chart.
The blanket is worked back-and-forth in rows.
There are two pdf files for the pattern. One is with UK crochet terms and the other is with US crochet terms.
The finished blanket measures 107 cm x 117 cm but this can easily be adjusted to whichever length and width you prefer, as explained in the pattern.
The blanket used the following yarn:
Hobbii Winter Glow Solid
51% wool, 49% acrylic; aran;
350 m (382 yds) / 100 g (3.5 oz) ball:
A: Purple Plum (38) – 1 ball
B: Navy Blue (08) – 1 ball
C: Cobalt Blue (09) – 1 ball
D: Petrol Green (13) – 1 ball
E: Emerald (17) – 1 ball

G: Curry (23) – 1 ball
H: Copper (24) – 1 ball
I: Amber (26) – 1 ball
J: Cerise (34) – 1 ball
You could substitute for other aran weight yarns. DK or chunky yarns could also work well.
