This pattern was designed for the Autumn Equinox 2009 yarn club installment for Gaia’s Colours Fibre Arts, in the variegated Ceres colourway. The yarn used is Gaia’s Colours Pales Sport yarn (100% SW Merino), though the Heithrun Sport from Gaia’s Colours can also be used. Any colourful, variegated sport weight merino or soft wool blend can be substituted. I used about 2 of the 4oz skein, and the cowl can be knit taller to use up a full skein, or to make a second cowl.

Ceres Celebration Cowl is a simple slip-stitch cowl that shows off colourful and variegated yarns.
