Agujas:

• 3.5mm circular needles with a cable of 60 or 80cm, or size needed to obtain gauge.
• 3mm circular needles with a cable of 60 or 80cm, or half a size smaller than the needles you used to get gauge.
• 3.5mm needles, or the same size you used to get gauge, for working in a small circumference (short circulars, DPNs, or a longer cable for working “magic loop”)
• One extra needle (straight or circular)
of 3.5mm, or the size you used to get gauge, for working the 3 needle bind-off at the sides.

Gauge:

In Cherry pattern worked flat
24sts x 42 rows gives 10 x 10cm before and after blocking.
It’s advisable to note down the gauge measurements before and after blocking in order to better estimate the final item measurements.

Other materiales:

• 3 stitch markers, 2 of which should be locking stitch markers.
• A long cable with a connector to allow you to try on the item as you go. - Tape measure, tapestry needle, and scissors.

Construction notes:

CEREZA is worked flat vertically. The only part that is worked in the round is the armhole finishing.
When working vertically the most important thing to remember is that the cast-on stitches give the total length to the item, which means it is very important to do a gauge swatch and carefully measure it in order to cast on the right number of stitches.

Agujas:

• Agujas circulares de 3.5 mm con cable de 60 u 80 cm, o grosor adecuado para obtener la tensión de la muestra.
• Agujas circulares de 3 mm con cable de 60 u 80 cm, ó medio mm más finas que con las que vayamos a tejer la prenda.
• Agujas de 3.5 mm o el mismo grosor con el que hayamos tejido la prenda para tejer círculo pequeño (especiales de cable corto, cinco agujas o agujas para magic loop)
• Una tercera aguja, puede ser recta o con cable, de 3.5 mm para hacer el cierre a 3 agujas en los laterales.

Accesorios:

• 3 marcador, 2 de ellos mejor de candado (abiertos).
• Cable largo con conector para ir probándonos la prenda.
• Cinta métrica, aguja lanera y tijeras.

Tensión:
24 puntos y 42 pasadas son 10 por 10 cm a punto cereza antes y después del bloqueo.

Es aconsejable anotar las medidas de la muestra antes y después del bloqueo, de esa forma podremos estimar las medidas finales de la prenda.

Construcción:

CEREZA se teje en vertical en abierto. La única parte que se teje en circular es el remate del hueco de la manga.
Cuando tejemos en vertical lo más importante a tener en cuenta es que el montaje de los puntos es el largo de la prenda, con lo que tenemos que estudiar muy bien esta medida a partir de los datos que nos ofrece la muestra.
