‘Ceri’ (/cerī/) means ‘cherry’ in Bahasa Melayu Brunei. Its namesake takes inspiration from Brunei’s cherry blossoms, also known as sakuras, that bloom in early April. Arriving just in time for Spring to bring colour to otherwise dull grey skies.

The Ceri Bandana is a bottom-up kerchief, knitted with DK weight yarn. It features a simple lace eyelet pattern that is easy to memorise, and is recommended for anyone at a beginner level.
It is available in THREE sizes with TWO finishing options and uses a small amount of yarn, making the bandana a great addition to your accessories made with leftover scraps.

CONSTRUCTION
The Ceri Bandana is knitted flat bottom up, gradually increasing the size with lace work incorporated throughout the pattern. Once the desired length is reached, the bandana is finished with two finishing options and ties.

DK Weight Yarn, needles, scissors, darning needle, measuring tape
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
• 3.5mm (US 4) needles or any size to obtain gauge.
YARN:
Orange Sample made in Size 3 knitted with LoopMii Yarn in Shade Firefly (approximately 0.47 skeins or 103 m / 113 yds) on 3.5mm (US 4) needles.
YARDAGE:
Approx. 48 (70) 103 m / 52 (77) 113 yds.
Additional yardage may be required if you opt to lengthen the piece.
