Beatrice looked to depictions of ancient Greek garments to create a shawl. “This shawl was created with that simple beauty in mind. Its sections of reverse stockinette call to mind the gathered layers of fabric adorning the gods, and the applied border those simple and elegant embellishments. The yarn itself is divine: a silk cotton blend that has a lovely feel and is light to wear, something the Greek gods truly would have worn themselves.”
