This is a slightly more advanced lace cardigan that is worked from the top down, and the arms in the round. The lack of side-seams gives a beautiful finish. The lace pattern is stretchy, so sizing is forgiving.

It doesn’t meet in the front – it ties up loosely, and the sleeves are three-quarter length so they don’t get food stains. Because there is a bit more attention to detail required, I’ve given this an advanced rating, but once you get underway, you’ll see it’s actually not that hard at all. A beautiful baby gift!
