Elegant yet simple design for a felted handbag, the “Chain” Cabled Companion continues the distinctive cable design all the way up the sides and into the handle itself.

Knitted in the round, the instructions are thorough and appropriate for an advanced beginner or more experienced knitter.

This project has proven to be a great idea for gift giving, as the purse can be made in two sizes, regular or tall.
In this design there are two different handle options to chose from – chain with I-cord woven through the chain; or three I-cords braided.

The finished dimensions after felting: Bottom measures 12 inches by 5.5 inches. The regular purse is 8 inches tall and the tall purse is 10 inches tall.
