Slipstitch patterns make colorwork easy and endlessly variable. Three skeins of yarn is enough for the small hat, the medium hat, and the cowl if you change up the main colors.

Finished Size Hat: 18 ¾ (19 ¾ , 22 ½ )“ circumference at brim and 6 ¼ (7 ¼ , 8 ¼ )” tall. Light teal hat shown measures 18 ¾ “; medium teal hat shown measures 19 ¾ “. Cowl: 6” wide and 50 ¾ “ circumference.
Yarn Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted Superwash (100% superwash wool; 220 yd 200 m/3 ½ oz 100 g): #749 smoke heather (gray; A), #715 teal viper (med teal; B) and #739 turquoise (lt teal; C), 1 ball each.
Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16” and 36” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker (m); tapestry needle.
