SIZE
The pattern provides calculation and description of work for a pair of mittens to fit the hands of an adult female (hand circumference approx. 19-20 cm).
Please note that there are no instructions for other sizes. But you can use a smaller or bigger size hook to make other sizes.
Thanks to peculiar crochet technique of “horizontal ribbing” you will get nice stretchy fabric. The ready-made mittens will comfortably hug your hands. Each mitten is made in one piece using turning rows, starting from the side. The final piece is of a rectangular shape with a narrowing at one end. You shall gradually work on the thumb gusset after which you will break the thread, sew the thumb and continue working on the remaining part of the mitten. At the end you will sew the starting and the final rows using the crochet hook.
