Chain of Lakes
Winter Haven, Florida is known as the Chain of Lakes City. You can travel by boat through 28 lakes, connected by man-made canals. I love to spend the day exploring the lakes, docking at local establishments for a bite to eat or to listen to live music. You can even catch the world famous ski show at Legoland Florida. If you visit Central Florida, I highly recommend making a stop in Winter Haven to rent a boat or take a tour. Bring your knitting!
This pattern is simple to knit and the small (pictured above) takes just 400 yards of fingering weight yarn, the large takes 600 yards and is shown on the last page of this pattern in one Hella Hank from Emma’s Yarn. The size is easy to adjust with more or less yardage. Pattern is written.
