Chain Reaction Necklace
This necklace design uses only two stitches: chain stitch and single crochet. A metal chain is used in place of a foundation of crocheted chain stitches. It is important to remember to treat the metal chain links just as one would chain stitches in a foundation chain. The succeeding rows are worked into that chain in the same way that stitches would be worked into a foundation of chain stitches.
This design is open to broad interpretation. The types of beads and fibers chosen will determine the look of the necklace.
