The pattern description of work progress for a long scarf and a cowl (the difference is in starting chain length), video tutorials and diagrams. Please note, that subtitles in the videos are provided in Russian language only.

Pattern skill level: Intermediate and higher.

YOU WILL NEED

• 200-250 gr (for a cowl) or 300-350 г gr (for a long scarf) of Gazzal Baby Alpaca* yarn (55% baby alpaca, 45% wool) ,
• crochet hook 4 mm (or another hook to match your yarn), auxiliary hook one size (or half a size) smaller
• stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors,
• 1 cm diameter button (for cowl only).

To make the scarf the following crochet skills are required:
• Chain (ch),
• Slip stitch (slst),
• Half double crochet (hdc),
• Double crochet (dc).

Video tutorials for:
• Yarn over slip stitch (yoslst),
• winding around 2 and 3 braids.

SIZE

The scarf is designed for an adult - either women or men.
The finished scarf dimensions are 23-25 cm width x 160-170 cm length.

The scarf is made in one piece using turning rows, starting from the side. The final piece is of the rectangular shape. The design invokes utilization of lace openings which adds elegant touch to the textured fabric. For the cowl option you shall require to sew a small button to the finished item.
